In addition to the work of our local congregation in Melrose, based on passages like Mark 16:15 &16, which calls us to go into all the world, and II Corinthians 5: 18 & 19, where we see that we are given a ministry of reconciliation, we believe we are called to also turn our eyes to the world beyond Melrose. Because of this obligation, the Melrose Church of Christ supports various external ministries. Below is a list of the works that the congregation is currently supporting.
Currently working in 5 countries in Asia, Agape Asia provides education, a family, a place to call home, and life saving medical care to abandoned children in Asia.
Athens International Bible Institute
The Athens International Bible Institute’s mission is to deliver quality Biblical instruction, ministry training, and mentors of the servant attitude of Christ to students from every continent on earth.
Boston Center for Pregnancy Choices (BCPC)
The BCPC is a faith-based organization that helps individuals make informed decisions about unplanned or unwanted pregnancies, and provides support after those decisions are made.
India Missions trains local men and women to take the message of love and hope to their own people. They also provide the tools needed to enable the Indian brethren to get the job done.
Partners in Progress works in Cambodia Myanmar providing medical care, job care, clean water, food, as well as Biblical preaching and teaching.
Ukrainian Bible Institute in Kyiv, Ukraine trains workers for the kingdom and is a partner for many ministries throughout Ukraine and abroad.
